Bellpepper Restaurant, Mainz

Bellpepper
A theatrical show-kitchen with a wood-burning oven is the main feature of this restaurant, in which fresh ingredients from the best suppliers play an important role. The atmosphere is enhanced by Bellpepper's brigade of creative chefs 'on stage' preparing the daily specialities. The interaction between guests and the Chefs contributes to this unique atmosphere. Glass and steal are the main elements of Bellpepper's design which can seat up to 120 guests and provides an extraordinary view over the river Rhine. Our private Weinboutique offers additional space for up to 22 persons.

In addition to our menu, authentic sushi with Sashimi, Nigiri, Maki & co is prepared directly in front of the eyes of the guests in the open show kitchen. The beverages too - Sake and green tea - perfectly complement the menu and suit this great Japanese speciality. Only available for the evening dinner.

Restaurant Bellpepper also features a walk-in wine boutique with a wide selection of local and international wines (over 300 wines). During summer, guests can enjoy their meal on the Bellpepper terrace.

Malakoff Garden

Fort Malakoff Garden
The Malakoff Garden is in the courtyard of the fort which was built in 1873 to bolster the defence of the medieval city walls.

Technically the 'Hofgarden' of the fort, this garden is open during summer, and it exudes a wonderful atmosphere below the old red sandstone walls. Enjoy the excellent atmosphere with local wine offers, Malakoff-Bräu beer and cocktails.
Hours: The Malakoff Garden is open during summer time, starting May daily from 5:00 pm until midnight.
 

Rheintöchter Terrasse

Since May this year, the Hyatt Regency Mainz has been attracting guests with a new outdoor location that offers a very special kind of cuisine to enjoy the summer season in a perfect culinary way. “Die Rheintöchter Terrasse” is the ideal place to try delicious barbecue specialties, fresh from the traditional grill house, while having a great view over the River Rhine.
